go to msichan.com and download my worksheet on equilateral triangles. You are responsible for completing Exercise Sets A and B.
If you require more explanation of the centroid theorem (the centroid divides each median such that the distance from the centroid to the vertex is twice that from the centroid to the midpoint), you may read pg. 258 of the Prentice Hall book. Be sure to read example 3.
I may not be in class tomorrow because I may have to take my mother to the doctor. If that is the case, your assignment will be to partner up and work on the Right Triangles Pre-Test (Ch. 10 Pre-Test). I only have 15 copies printed up for BOTH third and fourth hours. Therefore, you are not allowed to write on them or keep them. You are to turn them back in at the end of class.
Don't worry, I will post the pre-test online so that you may print up your own copy to complete for HW. Don't get too loud (especially you, 4th hour!.....). If the substitute gives you an "F" for a behavior grade, I will not give out the solutions to the pre-test. That goes for both classes.
For example, if 4th hour gets an "F", neither 3rd or 4th hour get the solutions and vice-versa. SO---the moral of the story here is that we are one, big gigantic happy family or we are not. You decide. It only takes one person to ruin it for BOTH classes!
