  • 1.6 is just you making your own term and value charts in order to figure out real life situation.

  • Yes, Jared, 1.6 is basically 1.4 and 1.5 in real world situations.

  • For example, let's say you're trying to figure out how many 2 way conversations you can have at a party with 100 people....

  • Like I was saying, we would call the top row "# of people at party" and the bottom row "# of 2-way conversations".

    # of people 1 2 3 4 n
    # of 2 way conv. x 1 3 6

    if you don't understand how I got 1, 3, 6 for the bottom row, draw dots to represent people. Then draw line segments connecting the dots. The line segments would represent the 2-way conversations.
