  • On some of the problems the protractor I have is too big and doesn't work and I keep on getting different measurements.

  • Woohoo. XD

I still had this assignment cram-packed in my ancient binder. I'd be happy to give you a few words of advice. Let's see. Well, I don't have the book, but I did copy the work when I did exercise 2.2...so I don't remember exactly how the angles were drawn, but myeh. XD You'll have to deal with my squiggly-lines.

    C.Nazef:

For numbers thirty-six, thirty-seven, and thirty-eight, it means exactly what it says. XD Thirty-six, you find the value of "x". Thirty-seven, you find the value of "y" and for thirty-eight you find the value of "z".

    J.Blackwell:

For your first question, number seven and nine ask you to use subtraction to find the size of each angle.

    Number Seven:

It says to find the measurement of ANGLE COB. ...le Dang it, I don't have the picture for this problem. Is there a picture? But my line of work reads--

    m ANGLE COA - m ANGLE BOA = m ANGLE COB.

So just plug in the numbers. :D How many degrees is angle COA and how many degrees is angle BOA? You'll get the answer the way. This method also applies to number nine.

For your second question about finding lettered angle measures:

Let me just say one thing. A complete circle is 360-degrees, right? Keep it in mind. XD Muy importante.

    Number Thirty-Six:

    Remember. Full circle, 360 degrees.
Now, the angle shown in number thirty-six [[...there is an angle shown, right?]] depicts that the angle has a 1/4 rotation. One-fourth. What's one-fourth of 360?

Once you figure that out, you know that the sum of the angle measurements [15, 21, and x] equal one-fourth of 360. 90 is a fourth of 360. Now, you're trying to find the value of x, so subtract 15 and 21.

    X=90-(15+21)

Badaa-bing, badaa-boom. Pow. XD Now you can easily do numbers thirty-seven and thirty-eight. If you still need help, "just holler"! :DDDD

    Sincerely,
    --Mary.

P.S. Okie dokies. I have a mission. Any Spanish-Speakers, please aid me in my quest for knowledge. D: I don't know if I'll suuurviiiive Spanish III. Heeelp meeee~. Speak to me in Eees-paaaan-oool so I can practice my *coughlackcough* of skill, pleeease. I have no one to talk to at home. XD Thank you so very much in advance.

P.P.S. Hey, hey, heyheyhey. Ms. Chan, Ms. Chan, Ms. Chan. Did you get my super-duper-top-secret-message? XDDD I think I gave it to Laura. *snerk*
