Aim 1: to know geometric vocabulary words
Aim 2: to know basic geometric notation and symbols
Aim 1: to know geometric vocabulary words
Aim 2: to know basic geometric notation and symbols
- read (for comprehension) pgs.76-79
- copy ALL the bold-faced words and their definitions
- (3, 5, 9, 15, 20, 21, 24, 26, 32, 41, 42)
Just because I didn't assign any Ch. 1 problems doesn't mean that you should take the night off from practicing nth term problems. Keep your skills sharp for Friday's quiz by randomly choosing and redoing some of the ones you got wrong. A good review would include doing a problem that would satisfy each one of our lesson objectives (and we've had many).
Make sure your notebook is in order for your first notebook check tomorrow!

numbers 41 and 42 are easy,=D ur just thinking a little bit to hard...
lets begin
for # 41, i solve the problem by simple drawing a picture (i learn that way.. im weird) but if it helps me see if it helps you. 500 is such a huge # why dont we just bring it down to 5 so that its aesie for us. alright now the question reads "into how many reagions do "5" parallel lines divide that plane" (ther talking about the plane to the right of the question). so now lets brain storm, imagine that there are five parallel lines going straight down that plain (do not draw on the book....)
how many sections are there? 7? 4? 8?...
...
...
well if you got 6 than you are correct =D yay!
lets try deviding it by 4 regions to see wat happens....
...
...
how many regions did you get??
if you got 5 regions than you are right!
lets try one more for the sake of it... try 6 parallel lines.?? you are right if u got 7
omg lets look at this realy quik
| 4| 5| 6|n |500|
| 5| 6| 7|???|???|
OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!
DOSE THIS LOOK FAMILIAR????
SEE i told you, you were thinking to hard!! XD silly goose
